✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Age between 21 and 50 years with Punjab domicile.
• Valid Commercial Driving License (LTV or HTV) with clean driving record.
• Minimum educational qualification: Matriculation (relaxed for experienced commercial drivers).
• No past financial default with any bank or financial institution.
• Willingness to operate within designated urban transport routes in Punjab.

Detailed Scheme Overview & Application Instructions

To curb urban smog, reduce dependency on imported crude oil, and empower drivers with low operating costs, the Government of Punjab has introduced the province's premier E-Taxi initiative. Drivers benefit from electricity running costs that are up to 80% lower than petrol/cng, allowing them to comfortably pay monthly installments while earning sustainable daily livelihood.

How to Submit Your Application Online:

  1. Visit the official government portal: https://punjab.gov.pk/e-taxi-punjab.
  2. Create an account using your NADRA CNIC and verify via SMS OTP on your registered mobile number.
  3. Fill out the personal details, academic institution information, and guardian guarantor details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of CNIC, Student Card, and Driving License / Learner permit.
  5. Select your preferred EV bike brand and model from the approved manufacturer list.
  6. Review and submit your application before the official deadline: October 15, 2026.
