Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially launched Phase 2 of the interest-free electric bike distribution program for regular college and university students across Punjab. The scheme provides zero down payment, PKR 90,000 upfront government subsidy, and monthly installments of approximately Rs. 3,000 at 0% markup through The Bank of Punjab (BOP).

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Regular enrolled student of any public or private sector college or university in Punjab.
• Age: Minimum 16 years at the time of online application submission.
• Valid Motorcycle Driving License or official Learner's Driving Permit issued by Punjab Police.
• Punjab Domicile or bonafide student certificate from a recognized Punjab institution.
• Parent, legal guardian, or close family member with verified income to serve as loan co-guarantor.

• Valid Student ID Card and current semester fee slip / enrollment certificate.

Phase 2 of the CM Punjab Electric Bike Scheme is designed to revolutionize daily student commuting across all 36 districts of Punjab. Under the directive of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, 100,000 electric scooties and bikes are being distributed to students enrolled in degree colleges and universities. The provincial government bears 100% of the interest/markup, registration fee, token tax, and first-year comprehensive insurance, ensuring that students face no hidden costs.

How to Submit Your Application Online:

  1. Visit the official government portal: https://bikes.punjab.gov.pk/.
  2. Create an account using your NADRA CNIC and verify via SMS OTP on your registered mobile number.
  3. Fill out the personal details, academic institution information, and guardian guarantor details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of CNIC, Student Card, and Driving License / Learner permit.
  5. Select your preferred EV bike brand and model from the approved manufacturer list.
  6. Review and submit your application before the official deadline: October 04, 2026.
